What are invoices?
An invoice is a hassle-free way to integrate NOWPayments in your online store. It’s a small box where all the necessary information about the payment is collected: the deposit address, the currency, and the sum.
How to Use Invoices:
- Create an invoice for payment in your Account.
- Put it on your website or send it to your client.
- Now, you have a handy payment tool for your customers.
- You are ready to accept crypto payments
I am a Customer. How do I pay a crypto invoice?
If you scan the QR code in your crypto wallet, the address will paste automatically. All you need to do is to enter the sum. You can also copy the address yourself to send the funds if you prefer.
I am a Merchant. How do I create a crypto invoice and use it?
Plugins or API take some time to install. They don’t take too long either, but an invoice is truly instant. Here’s how you set it up:
- Go to the Invoices section in your Account:
- Click “Create invoice”:
- Fill in the form. Note that you can create a fiat invoice so that your customers can pay in fiat with you receiving crypto.
This is it! The whole process takes less than a minute. Now, simply put this Bitcoin invoice (or any other crypto invoice) on your online store or send it to your customers as a link.
Any invoice can be used multiple times. To create a different invoice, repeat the steps above, and you’ll see the whole list of your invoices in the corresponding section of the Account.
Why is the address in the invoice different from the one in my Account?
You may notice that the deposit address in the invoice is different from your own crypto wallet address. This is an internal address we use to detect the transaction, process it and conduct an exchange if necessary. Don’t worry: we won’t store your funds or send them anywhere else.

How can I track the invoice payments?
To see the payments made via a certain invoice, click the blue arrow on the very left and find the data in a drop-down menu:
All payments made through invoices are also listed in the Payments section of your Account.
