In June, we rolled out key updates to make the platform clearer, faster, and more convenient, focusing on dashboard usability, integration discovery, e-commerce setup, stablecoin support, and whitelist management.
What’s New?
This update includes several important improvements that make NOWPayments more convenient for partners, merchants, and their customers. Here’s a breakdown of the key changes.
Redesigned Account Dashboard
What’s changed:
We released the first iteration of the redesigned NOWPayments account dashboard.
The update includes:
- Refreshed sidebar design.
- Updated header and top navigation.
- Redesigned profile dropdown.
- New sidebar hover states in the updated NOWPayments brand blue.
- Updated NOWPayments logo inside the dashboard.
Why it matters:
The new dashboard design makes the partner account cleaner, more modern, and easier to navigate.
New Integrations Section
What’s changed:
We added a new Integrations section to the NOWPayments account dashboard.
This section gives new and existing partners one place to explore NOWPayments tools, test integration types, and preview how different payment flows can look.
The first release includes:
- Invoice: Test invoice creation and preview invoice UI.
- Button & Widget: Configure payment buttons and widgets.
- AI: Access AI-related resources such as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server information.
Why it matters:
Partners can now discover and test NOWPayments tools directly from the dashboard. Instead of learning about each product separately, they can explore available integrations in one place and better understand which setup fits their business.
Payments API and WooCommerce Added to Integrations
What’s changed:
We expanded the Integrations section with two more important setup flows:
- Payments API
- WooCommerce plugin
The Payments API flow shows how to create an invoice through the API with the required ipn_callback_url. The integration becomes Active after the partner completes all three screens and creates an invoice with the specified callback URL.
The WooCommerce plugin flow gives merchants a step-by-step guide for installing and configuring the NOWPayments plugin in WordPress. The integration becomes Active after a payment is created through the plugin on the partner’s account.
Why it matters:
These additions make setup clearer for both developers and e-commerce merchants. API users get a guided technical flow, while WooCommerce merchants get practical instructions for launching crypto payments on their WordPress store.
Automated Whitelist Address Flow
What’s changed:
We improved the address whitelisting process. Any request to whitelist an address now goes directly through custody, without the previous operational email flow.
The process now works as follows:
- The partner sends a whitelist request from the dashboard, either manually or through CSV upload.
- The partner receives an email with a 2FA code from custody.
- After the partner enters the 2FA code successfully, the address is automatically added to the whitelist.
The 2FA code is valid for 15 minutes. If it expires, the partner needs to send the request again and enter the new code.
If an address remains in REQUESTED status, it means the partner has not confirmed the request with the 2FA code. To complete whitelisting, the partner should resend the request and enter the new code.
Why it matters:
This update makes whitelisting faster and more direct while keeping security controls in place. Partners no longer need the previous operational flow, and valid requests can move straight through custody confirmation.
PYUSD on Solana Added
What’s changed:
NOWPayments added support for PYUSD on Solana.
Why it matters:
PYUSD on Solana gives partners another stablecoin option for payments and crypto operations.
